I first came across JLM products back in 2010, in particular the DPF Cleaner. I immediately saw the opportunity for this in the evolving diesel market and pursued JLM until they agreed to appoint Kalimex as their UK distributor. What appealed to me was the technical superiority and premium value of the JLM product range.
The JLM range offers a comprehensive solution to a variety of emissions and performance problems. The quality and effectiveness of the different formulations makes them ideal for professional users who need a fast, effective and reliable fix for their customers' vehicles.
We market JLM primarily to the professional user. To make the most of JLM's products it is important to first understand the underlying issue with a vehicle in order to select the correct JLM solution. Inevitably word is also spreading with the motoring consumer and demand is growing, in particular for one shot additives.
JLM's marketing philosophy very much mirrors our own. To promote a high quality premium solution that gives customers fantastic value for money. JLM and Kalimex work together to invest in growing the JLM brand and establishing a solid brand position in the UK market. The approach is a long term strategy, via multiple channels, to continuously promote the JLM message. We advertise JLM products in the trade media contribute articles on new and existing products and send out press releases for online and print coverage. We also exhibit at the main trade shows and work closely with Darren Darling, the brand ambassador for JLM and the founder of The DPF Doctor Network. We understand the importance of ongoing marketing to build the JLM brand and to differentiate it from competitors with inferior products but big marketing budgets! If only our other suppliers had the same marketing mentality...
