DPF Training That’s Top of The Class

Our world class training portal is a fantastic resource for any workshop. We have 3 main sections, ‘Live Training’ where we broadcast in full HD from our training academy so that delegates can ask questions and have them answered live as we deliver each session; ‘Training Reruns’ section where we upload every training session so that it can be viewed 24/7. This enables our members to catch up on training and keep up to date at their own convenience with over 100 2-hour training sessions currently available. And finally, a ‘Video Guides’ section where we have a searchable series with 100+ short training videos offering ‘just in time’ training for when you have a job in your workshop. Our members have unlimited access to our training portal so they can use it as often as they like 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. A massive plus is that they can attend as many live training sessions as often as they like so there is no pressure to learn everything to perfection the first time around. 

 

The training is based on our real-world experience with real faults and real fixes in our own workshop. This means that when we see new faults, we create new training content. The beauty of our live sessions is that we always have different questions from attendees coming into each session which keeps things doubly interesting! Having the content online also gives us the flexibility to add new content to the Video Guides section on a regular basis. If we cover a ‘fix’ in training, then it has been proven in our own workshop. We only use our material in the training, delivered in our proven, unique, easy to understand format. 

 

 

Our initial DPF training is a 12-part course delivered over 3 weeks, at the rate of four two-hour sessions per week. It is the ultimate in bite sized learning that can be integrated into the working day with ease. The sessions start at 9am UK time. However, for training to be really effective we encourage workshops to make an ongoing commitment and to attend refresher training at least once every six months. This ensures they really do stay up to date with everything DPF related and at the top of their game of course. Our Video Guides section is fantastic for this. All the resources on offer ensure that workshops continue to work in an efficient, lean and customer focused way with their first-time fix rate a glowing testament to this. The subscription is incredible value for money. Just £1,500 a year which should be covered by approximately 7 DPF cleans/repairs. It’s worth pointing out that this fee covers the whole team including the front of house staff. No you are not seeing things! One flat rate of £1500 means that every single person in the business – all the technicians and any other team members can attend our training as many times as they like in a year. Within a matter of weeks, sometimes days, the cost is more than recovered and the business is forging ahead as a DPF specialist with a superb first-time fix rate. What we usually find is that the technicians attend all the live training sessions with the support staff choosing the ones they think will enhance their basic understanding of DPFs. I will stick my neck out and say that to the best of my knowledge there is no other provider delivering DPF training to this standard, at this value with such an incredible return on investment.

Being invited as a keynote speaker by the organisers of the AAAA Expo, the largest Automotive trade event in the southern hemisphere was the most amazing experience. There was a real buzz around the room and many delegates stayed on afterwards so they could pick my brains and find out more about the training we offer. After experiencing jet lag from a 36-hour delay on the outward leg of the journey I was fuelled by coffee and adrenalin and the fact that many of the audience had travelled some distance to meet me. The conversations we had were remarkably similar to the ones we have at European events and at events in the USA. Technicians always complain about the lack of decent quality training on DPFs and other emissions’ related problems. This causes real headaches in the workshop. When I tell them about the sheer volume of training content available in our training portal, they don’t believe it, so I inevitably given them a sneak preview to show them what they can access.
