Distributor for JLM Lubricants has ended 2020 on a high note, winning an award for the innovative and dynamic approach they take to marketing JLM products. It marks a challenging but exciting year for the company because despite the global pandemic, their sales of JLM products have grown significantly with trade customers.
Speaking of the reasons why GCG won the award, JLM Founder and CEO Gilbert Groot said, “We have been working with GCG for two years and in that time, they have grown their share of JLM sales to such an extent that out of our established 40 strong distributor network they are second in line to claiming the top sales’ spot. When it came to awarding the best marketing campaign of 2020 there was no debate with the JLM marketing team about the winner. GCG engage with their trade customers using several channels encompassing point of sale, magazines, and email marketing. But it’s their use of video which makes them stand out as an exemplar. Elliot Altobelli who head up GCG’s marketing has created superb videos showing the power and impact of JLM products in before and after scenarios which really resonate with their trade customers and of course the world beyond. They put in the effort consistently, are real advocates of the JLM product range and it’s clearly paying off.”
