JLM Stop Smoke Oil Treatment J04831 JLM LUBRICANTS

JLM Stop Smoke Oil Treatment reduces exhaust smoke, engine wear and oil consumption, and improves engine performance. Specially developed for older engines with worn parts, it can be used in petrol, diesel, LPG and CNG engines that emit blue/grey exhaust smoke.

Product information

JLM Stop Smoke Oil Treatment reduces smoke from the exhaust caused by burnt oil. The active formula in this additive reduces unwanted play between worn engine components such as piston rings and valve seals and makes oil seals more supple, allowing them to seal optimally.

The engine compression ratio also increases because all of the components of the engine are optimized by JLM Stop Smoke Oil Treatment. The result of this is a better performing engine with more power and lower fuel consumption.

The viscosity of the oil increases because of the concentrated composition of the additives package. This ensures that the oil adheres more effectively to the moving parts in the engine and improves lubrication. The result is that the engine’s service life is prolonged considerably.

JLM Stop Smoke Oil Treatment can be mixed with all mineral, synthetic, monograde and multigrade oil types.

Frequently
asked
questions

These are the most common questions we get from a potential distributor.

Can JLM Valve Saver Fluid be added to petrol?

Yes, no problem at all. In fact JLM Valve Saver Fluid is a very good and tested lead replacement additive. The treat rate is 1ml of Valve Saver Fluid for 1 liter of petrol fuel.

Is it OK to use the extreme and the DPF cleaner together. ?

No, this will not have a positive effect. In fact it may cause an adverse effect. And also the risk of overdosing! Never combine fuel additives

Will AdBlue Plus dissolve existing crystal infestation or is it more like a preventative product?

JLM’s AdBlue Plus additive cleans and prevents crystal formation in the AdBlue dosing system. It also conditions the AdBlue fluid for a longer time to ensure proper working of the AdBlue and SCR system. This helps prevent performance loss and the often-subsequent expensive repairs. It also reduces foaming at low temperatures

Is the JLM Engine Oil Flush safe for use with wet belt engines?

Our JLM OIL FLUSH is safe to use with ‘wet belts’ (TBIO). This is mainly because we use non solvent and premium pack of oil cleaning additives.

Does the Petrol Emissions Reduction Treatment also clean the catalytic convertor?

The catalytic converter is not a filter, it functions by converting harmful emission gases into less harmful gases. The filter can become contaminated if for example there has been an oil leak, and when this happens the filter needs to be replaced. There is no additive or chemical that will remove physical contamination from a catalytic.
